I’ve been involved in the media for over 25 years.
Primarily as one of the chief photographers for the AFR for 15 years, I spent two years as picture editor of “The Sophisticated Traveller Magazine”, a New York Times syndicated magazine where I was responsible for the visual content of the magazine—taking pictures for other Fairfax mastheads and magazines throughout Australia. Working on Australia’s finest newspapers was just about the best apprenticeship you could have.

My assignments have included portraits of global visiting CEOs like Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter) Richard Branson (founder of Virgin) and regularly photographing many of the CEOs and Exec’s of most of Australia’s leading companies. I can work quickly and efficiently at any location to create natural-looking photographs.

In the past, media outlets would send their own photographer. Those days are long gone. Media staffing levels make that unreliable. By providing your own images in the style of your target media gives you an edge. You are increasing media placement among competing stories. I know what editors are looking for, having worked as a photojournalist for many years.
